2014 – Weekend With Woody

Everyone is probably still smiling after the event-filled September 2014 weekend with Woody Minnich. During his Saturday presentation at Tom Degnan’s home, Minnich revealed “the secrets to growing better-quality cacti and other succulents,” and offered his rare and uncommon cacti and succulents for sale. The next day, at the annual HSCSS picnic at Glady Drummond’s nursery, he demonstrated how to “show” plants. He recommended using interesting top dressings and rocks, and considering form, color and texture. “Frame the plant,” he said.
